'Users Guide: Add to Financial Records'

The 'Users Guide' example for 'Add to Financial Records' :   under 'Financial' in the main menu you click on
'Add/Create New Records'. You may choose to 'Use Calendar' for entering dates (clicking on a calendar date) or simply
use the keyboard. All expenses or payments can be entered in this same place. It is as simple as entering the checking
information. The 'Use/Line' refers to the lines on the form G1 tax return. Similar to 'expense categories'.

In the example 'Rent' is on line 29 of the G1 or schedule-A. An expense can be related to a particular Site as (002)
below. Any entry error discovered later is easy to correct.

Add to 'Financial Records'

All expenses and all 'Lawful Purpose Expenditures' may be entered here. If you use Quicken or QuickBooks to print
checks, you may transfer the information to Gleason's and not have to enter it a second time. You may 'Export' from
Quicken or QuickBooks and 'Import' into Gleason's. (There is a separate small guide to help you with step-by-step
instructions.)

The screen lists the most commonly used 'Use/Lines'. Others not listed (to save space) may be used, for example line 25
for 'Advertising' is not frequently used nor is line 24 for 'Penalty or Interest on Taxes'. You may use the 'drop down arrow'
or enter the 'Use/Line' directly.
